Next Up with NAMIC St. Louis is Your Podcast!!!

All of the episodes I've hosted up to now have been full of information. That is the goal of this show, so it only makes sense that our listeners learn. A nice perk of the job though, is that along the way, I'm learning too. 

I love that we have a platform and a chance to encourage and give knowledge to people who might be looking to get into this field. My own story is one that involves a full 180 degree change from my life before being in Telecom, to after. I live for the chance to give the knowledge to others that can change their lives in that same way. 

Not to gloat, but I've spoken with people who have biked professionally through Australia, started social events that spanned the country, written renowned books, and some really cool social climbers from Atlanta to Chicago. Past all of the knowledge and education, these conversations are fun!

When we started Next Up, it was my first time building this kind of thing. I had recorded before, music and videos, but never something that would directly impact people the way a podcast can. Needless to say, I had a lot to learn... and I have. I'm bias, but I feel like technically and informationally each episode has improved, I feel myself becoming better as a host, and with the help of the NAMIC Next St. Louis Chapter team, we have gotten great interviews. 

When you have a group trying to accomplish anything of note, the strongest weapon you have is communication. I've kept this in mind with each episode, this isn't just about fun, and knowledge spreading, we also have a mission, a responsibility to those who come after us. This podcast, for me, is record of the great group of multicultural diverse people who have added to the great work of the media and communications field. So much these days, these efforts are being erased, to me this is my way of pushing back. 

William is an experienced and motivated Sales Engineer, trusted advisor and Technology Thought Leader with a passion for developing future-proof networks to enhance midsize to large companies. With over a decade of Network Engineering and Sales Engineering experience, Will has been able to leverage his technical prowess and excellent written and verbal communication skills to help create tailor-fitted network solutions.

William has a strong sense of community and is passionate about using the skills he has acquired in his career to help those who are just starting in theirs. William takes part in multiple community affiliations that focus on professional development including NAMIC Next St. Louis in order to grow the number of professionals in his community and others.
